Drama Club

C.A.S.T. provides after school enrichment classes and rehearsals on campus at area elementary schools for students Kinder through 5th grade. Our successful after school drama club program boasts having served over 2000 learners in Coppell ISD, Grapevine-Colleyville ISD, Northwest ISD, and area Charter schools since 2008. This highly successful program is an introduction to the wonderful world of performing arts and not only teaches students about acting, but also about teamwork, respect, integrity, and responsibility.

Fall 2020 UPDATE:

For the Fall 2020 Semester, we will be offering two,
after school enrichment programs!

The Fall Semester is August 24 - November 13.

First, we have created a NEW media arts enrichment program called:

This is an ONLINE ONLY enrichment activity that is designed specifically for the online experience.

This will be very different from our traditional "drama club" classes,
BUT will still focus on instilling creative thinking, teamwork, and building confidence along the way.

What's included in this semester-long class?

- Auditioning
- Acting for the Camera
- Using a Teleprompter
- Interviewing
- Monologues
- Film Making Terminology
-Camera Angles
- Brainstorming/Ideas
- Storyboarding
- Shooting Film (video)
- and end of semester World Premiere (Online Party)

The classes will be scheduled on weekday afternoons,
and the class size will be extremely LIMITED (only 8 per class)
so that our instructors can create an environment of inclusion and focus.

Register for MOVIETUBE HERE.

Again, registration is CURRENTLY OPEN for this program, but has limited space!
If you know you want scheduled, industry instructor-led activities for your learner, register now to save your spot!

At this time, we do not know if we will be "allowed" to use the school facilities to conduct the Drama Club Program.

We are hopeful.

Drama Club (in person) will follow CDC and State Guidelines for best practices for social distancing and mask wearing.

For this reason, our Drama Club classes will ALSO be LIMITED.

We have contracted a playwright to create an original play specifically
for CAST that will be created with distancing in mind for the actual "blocking and direction" of the play.

We will open registration once we have confirmation of our location for rehearsals and classes.
